O Lord, we give Thee thanks for the work of Thy priests, who administer the sacraments to us, and uphold the traditional discipline and worship of the Holy Roman Church. We honour the English Martyrs, who spent their lives, liberty and possessions, in the support of the true faith, the priesthood, and the Holy Mass. Through their prayers, and through the intercession of Our Lady Mother of Good Counsel, and of all the saints, we beseech Thee to help us; that we may never cease to pray for Thy priests, and to support them with the temporal goods of which they stand so much in need.
